It's gone from two bars to battery warning to failure in less than 24 hours. This is with an Animas-issue Lithium Energiser. I normally use bog standard £1 a pack batteries and they give me literally days of warning before they fail. Admittedly they don't last as long, but they give much advanced warning of failure, so I've always been carrying a spare battery at the actual point of failure.

Anyway this time I wasn't carrying a spare, so my question is: do I leave the pump, canula etc in place until I can get a replacement battery in? Similar to leaving the old canula in for a while after doing a set change?

if the pump has stopped then remove the tubing and pump. Just re prime the cannula once you have replaced the battery and rewound the pump and primed it.
Obviously if more than an hour before replacement then you have lost all your settings as well. :(
