Today has been good, last night awful boderline hypo at 4 am which kept me awake till 6.
Can anyone tell me a good bs level to go to bed with ? I checked at 12am just before my bolus insulin and it was 12.5 bed at 2am . Checked just to be sure and it was at 6 so worring about a hypo I stayed awake and it just kept falling eventually at 4am 4.8 I conviced myself to get a bite to eat. Is this the way it is supposed to be bs falling towards bedtime or should it be climbing up? Its all messed up. I know it aint easy but confusing as well. Should I have a snack before bed? If so what type how much and can you also give me the lotto numbers. Its different for everyone I know but will I have to deprive myself of sleep just to avoid a hypo. SO SO sorry to be so negative about this but when its sorted all will be good. Does every diabetic have near hypos every day while sticking to a tight regime or is it a learning curve which you can take control of ??
