This might sound like a silly question but can beechams blackcurrant powders send blood sugar levels higher

Ha ha thanks first time I've been ill since being diagnosed in march so was a bit confused to why my blood sugar levels have been high the last couple of days

I've had a look today my blood sugar levels were 7.8 this morning had a burger and chips for my dinner now my blood sugar levels r 15.9 I've had an extra 4 units of novorapid rapid like the left said aswell seen to keep going up more
