- People who think they know a lot about Diabetes and actually don't.
It has been a real roller coaster over the last year and I have learnt so much and met some wonderful people who also have Diabetes or relatives who have it.
It has certainly been an eye opener where a large proportion of people think they know all about it and what they do know is worrying - very little.
I am always open with people around me and explain to them what is involved with living with Diabetes, I have it, not ashamed of it and happy to educate others about it.
This forum certainly helps with the advice and support - even though it is only through messaging.
