I know its not going to happen overnight but weird
I think 117kg (5'10" male) must be my natural weight then :¬( <not>
I am maxed out on my ketosis urine still through out this time as well

Maybe I need LCLFLF diet
<Low Carb Low Fat Low Fun>

:¬)

Maybe it will maybe it won't shift the weight. All I can say is keep at, it hasn't worked for me but I don't have an alternative way of eating.

Yep I have helped my BS a lot though was 10-11 most of the time and now after a walk I had my 1st 4.7 in ages
seems I wake up with 6.5 and it lowers all day to about 5.2 in the evening with zero or little spikes in BS on LCHF

Pitty though I had hoped for something :¬)

LCHF is a diet many use to control BG levels and it can help with weight loss, however, it would depend on calorific intake too. If your calorie intake is more than you expend, it doesn't matter what the food is, some of it will be stored as fat. You may well be right that you are at an ideal weight

I recently lost 25kg in 4mths from 105kg and my fasting went from 7 to 4.5, Hba1c from 54 to 33 and I passed an ogtt with 5.2 (2hrs). I now eat around 250gcarbs per day and have lost another 3kg since then. If you are lightly active, at 5ft 10, you would need 3150kcal/day to stay the same weight. Replacing carbs with fat will lower blood glucose but fat has more than double the calories than carbs so a small slip of the "healthy" oil will add hundreds of Calories to your intake.
If you cut your Calories to 2200/day you would have lost 40kg by end of Feb 2015. 4 meals of 500 Calories a day, of whatever macronutrient ratios you like, is what I would do then store 200/day for treat every few days. I had good success on 2 meal replacements and 1 veg meal totalling 1200Calories but I did lose muscle, but it is back on now, maybe too severe restriction . Best of luck

oh dear, there are lots of different opinions,

The only way I can lose weight is to count calories and weigh all my food. I use mynetdiary app.

What I've found is that I often stall and then I start eliminating foods or reducing portions and what seems like a small drop in calories I start losing again.

It is really amazing. Also, as was said small amounts of high fat foods can really add the calories - think nuts or nut butters.
