hya all,
ive been to see dietician today and diabetic nurse,the dietician was pleased with the progress and agreed with me about going mdi instead of just lantus so im seeing her in a mnth to learn about carb counting altho ive picked loads up from my ou course and here,
saw the nurse nxt she too is over the moon with my drop in everything and too agrees with basal bolus,sooo in a mnth im starting my new regime (as long as dr agrees) im so chuffed,its taken 4 yrs to get this for myself,anyhow these are my readings from feb and tday..
hba1c..feb- 7.7 tday 7.2
weight..feb-80kg tday 70kg
bp..feb-112/70 tday 106/60
serum chol..feb-4.2mmol tday 4.4mmol
serum hdl..feb-1.01mmol tday .98mmol(can anyone tell me what this should be plz?)
total..feb-4.2 tday 4.4
i have now lost 4 stone in weight and cant wait to get rid of these awful hypos,
thankyou all so much for your help and i will carry on low carb too
