Been to see eye specialist

I was refered after my last eye test as having bad eyesight that had got worse over a couple of months,
went to see eye specilialist at hospital today, and got a shock my eyesight has got worse, i have been told that my eyesight has gone from bad to very bad!
I have to a ct scan to check the back of my eyes and see a neuroligist as the man i saw today he said that he thinks that i have pressure building up in the back of my eyes!
asked me how long i have been like this,
i said about 5 months! he asked why had the doctor's not refered me sooner! they had been sat on the letter from my last eye test!
he was not happy at all!
he said that i must of been in alot of pain! I thought that i was going mad! he said that he is going to contact the doctor's to find out why they left it so late!
i explained about waiting on glucose intollerence test he said this needs to be sorted as soon as possable! and get it sorted as they have already wasted time that has resulted in my eyesight getting worse!
 
Sorry to hear your news Sandy. Once you get your blood sugars sorted there may be some improvement.
The good thing to come out of today is that you have a Consultant on your side now.

Hi sue,
I hope so as well the old doctor was useless, the new doctor set the eye appointment up! i have only had her for under a week, she rushed me in to see a eye specialist as a emergency, got glucose intollerence set for the 30th of march! written me up a second prescription for sticks!
as i phoned and spoke to her 5 minutes ago, and told her that for no reason woke up and took my blood and been on low carb diet! and my blood sugar is 11.1 this morning
not been eating chocolate or anything!
