Just curious and wondering what others like their level to be before going to bed - I am on met & Glic and like to be at around 6 - this gives me a fasting of usually around 5.2 - 5.4 - if I am any lower than 6 I think I must liver dump or suffer from dawn phenomenon because I usually get a reading in the high 6's low 7's on these occasions - whats your marker?

I'd be over the moon to get my levels down to that last thing at night. Typically I'm around 7.5-ish but my fasting levels rarely get down below 6 still. I'm working hard at it on a low-carb so hopefully I'll see some improvement. But it sounds to me that you've got it well under control. Well done!

Pre-bedtime.........between 6 to 7 mmol/l. This then gives me a waking level of low 5 mmol/l.

If my levels are too low before bed (below 6 mol/l) then I usually end up with DP (Liver dump) and would be high the next morning. I prefer prevention rather than struggle with higher morning levels.

Tell me more Cugila... What's this Liver Dump Business

Cheers

Carl
