Im not a teenager either.
Welcome to the forum.
Im sure you will get some help.
Hoya
I sometimes find I can have lows and have no explanation for them whatsoever ! I also have days where I have several hypos which is annoying especially at school!

I know school can be the worst place because i find it so embarrassing! Thanks for the reply
Thanks for your reply. That sounds awful, hope everything is ok now that your older. I understand too that highs can be very unpleasant though i'm always the opposite. I totally agree with hormones being little buggersI'm in a teenager!(Well 18 so technically an adult)
I totally get where you are coming from & I was struggling as well... I noticed it when I was 14 & it carried on until I was 17.. You say you hypo a lot? Well I was always high! And by high I mean 16 & above it was awful! I used to get so so frustrated because the doctors would tell me that my dieting is fine & my diabetes in general is fine which left me even more confused! It only ever effected my school life once (I passed out in a PE lesson due to high blood sugars)
It got to a point where I was put on metformin because my body was refusing to absorb any insulin but eventually I started to absorb & I don't take them anymore
I know it's hard to try & not let it control your life but I realised the older I got the easier it became to control & it was the same with my mom.. She's 50 now & even she had some pretty rough blood results when she was a teenager... I completely understand how you feel & I'm sure there are thousands upon thousands of other teenagers that are in the exact same spot as you...
These hormones are little buggers! But there little buggers that go away! You've just got to give your body time
Hope this helped,
Molly xx
