Hi,
I subscribe to an online blogspot e-zine that has today published a blog about a recent study report that shows that by empowering diabetes patients to take responsibility in their care planning has led to improved HbA1c outcomes.
The e-zine is Real Diabetes Truth, but because it is directly linked to a private health care company that has commercial interests, I cannot provide a link to it here.
However, the blogger does provide a source reference for the study, which is in a journal called Primary Care Diabetes (2016), which is a journal for Primary Care practitioners. I am not a subscriber to this jounal since I am not a PCT member, but I am wondering if anyone reading this has access to this journal and could provide an abstract from this study. (ref: Primary Care Diabetes. 2016; 10(2):129-135.)
Having looked at this journal on their website, the journal does provide some serious reports associated with diabetes care. I note that DUK are subscribers to it. How about DCUK newsbot?
