Try the gboard app if you're using a smartphone. Оr just write in Google Translator and paste what it gives, and then paste the Participant's answer into Google translator and translate it into French. I'm also very bad at English (but I understand even less in French, about 10 words).

I'll tag @Ushthetaff who is probably very knowledgeable about leg wounds and will be able to give advice.
