If you just want to log bg the contour USB is good but with the next you can also log carbs and insulin.
If you do count carbs then the Aviva expert is good as it comes with a bolus wizard and great way to getting used to Roche's meter if going on to one of their pumps.
They all do log books, trends and graphs that can be printed, or saved and emailed to your doctor/dsn.
Each meter has its pros and con's so hope this is some help.
