I suppose basically it depends on what in the way of carby food does not upset your digestion towards bedtime.
I find a slice of wholemeal (home baked bread) toast spread with peanut butter at around 45mins before I retire helps hold off night starvation. You will probably find something not too heavy and low GI will be the way to try.
I never used to have a problem through the night, but now my mix of meds do tend to have me heading towards low around 2 to 3 am, so hence the PB toast. I also found a smallish portion of mildly flavoured egg noodles to be quite good.
