As you say in a perfect world you'd be walking or cycling gently for 20 minutes. This is ideal for pregnancy too.Hi all
I'm type 1 and pregnant and so need really good control. Obviously exercise is a great way to reduce blood glucose. I find walking really effective as it's relaxing too but some times I can't take 20 mins out of my working day. When I've tried to do quick high intensity exercise I find it doesn't always reduce BG (I know that some exercise can actually increase BG if too hard). Does anyone have recommendations for quick exercises I can do in my living room in work breaks? Ideally without equipment and without too much noise to annoy my downstairs neighbour! Thank you!

Thanks everyone. It sounds like there's no silver bullet here and that I really just need to prioritise regular walking breaks if that's what works for me. I'm still in first trimester so am aware it will become more difficult to reduce BG as time goes on, may be then it's time to get an exercise bike. I think part of my issue is trying to cram in as much exercise into a short a burst as possible which can be counter productive. So I just need work to take a back seat a bit more.. any more tips gladly welcomed. Thank you
