Type 2 and bg level 26.2 in UK figures. Understandably feeling very wobbly. Have just injected 40 units of Novorapid to correct, but not sure if that's too much... It's 5.10pm now and I won't eat until 7.00pm.

I'm drinking loads of water to flush it as I also use Invokana, and there'll be 20 minutes brisk walking to the station and 20 brisk walking from the station at the other end.

Should I eat something on the way home?
 
Hi @Sally49, only you will know whether Novorapid at that level is too much - I'm afraid that we don't know how much insulin you normally take in relation to correcting your glucose levels.

If you are unsure then you should test regularly and take appropriate action as your glucose level changes.
