BG Micro-Fine Lancets

Went to collect my lancets as usual this week and was advised by the pharmacy that these are no longer stocked. They have been unable to locate them anywhere across the network and have told me to speak to the doctors to change the lancets.

Seems a bit unusual for something as basic as lancets to be unavailable?

They are the BD Micro-Fine lancets.
