How often should I change my BG monitor?. Had this one for a year

I have been using my codefree monitor for 2 and a half years.

I used my Accu-Chek Performa for 2½ years also, when the pharmacy I go to gave me a free upgrade to the latest Performa.

There is nothing wrong with the old one.

When it stops working, or when you get offered an upgrade to a nicer one (register it with the manufacturer).

Change it when it breaks or if you fancy a newer/alternative brand and/or model.

I've been using my Accu Chek Mobile for 13 months. It is still giving accurate readings. I will replace it when it stops working or if I think the readings are inaccurate.

Mine has just been changed after 8 years. Having said that we discovered last week it was giving high results. In some cases very high.

Hi . Been using mine almost 2 years now. Supplied by my GP Practice the GlucoRX Nexus when I began using Insulin in 2014.

My Accu Chek Mobile is 3 years old and working well. My first Codefree died after 9 months. My 2nd Codefree is nearly 2 years old and still working.
