Hi, I’m fairly new to blood monitoring. I was given no advice when I received the monitor & I have to buy my own testing strips & lancets. I have been mostly checking fasting (morning) levels. These are higher than I’d like but I believe that’s down to the dawn phenomenon.
I stick to mostly low carb to manage my type 2, no medications.
Nevertheless, I love the occasional bowl of porridge with Greek yogurt & stewed apple so today I decided to test to see if I could tolerate it.
Readings were:
Before eating - 6.7
1 hr after eating - 7.2
2 hrs after eating - 5.1
I think this is good but could anyone with more experience please tell me if these results indicate I’m ok with porridge. Thanks
