I had a blood test this week which came back with slightly elevated bilirubin - just over the reference range.
My initial reaction was not good. Then I did some searching and found this:

Maybe slightly high bilirubin (or at least at the upper end of the reference range) might actually be good as there appears to be an inverse relationship between bilirubin and CVD / diabetes risk.
