Bit of a blip!

Sounds great but it may well be because of the hard work you did during the day. This could have upped your general metabolism - in the same way that exercise does - which is why we are encouraged to exercise every day. It would have been interesting to know how much hard work was done (measurable in calories? - probably not, and what you BS was before you started.

I wouldn't take this as a green light to build chips and curry sauce into your diet. That way, madness lies, but like you say - a bit of a blip.
Don't worry I know my limitations although I do sometimes push the boundaries!!

Thanks @ickihun all I need to do now is convince my DN!!
Send her to me. Ha ha
Keep producing your excellent hba1c. They cannot be questioned, even by your dn.
Take her a piece of cake and if it means eating it in front of her before a hba2c due, she cannot say you messed with hba1c and she saw you eat cake so no agruement, not even from her!
I'm saying cake but any food which she construes a problem for diabetics not in remission.

I'm guessing she's never heard of it?
I know it exists because I've had close a few times in my undiagnosed yrs.
When I was 15yr old I did 600cals milkshakes and lost about 7stones. I did it for about 7-8mths. I was fed up with being a fat teenager.
I did herbalife after that. They were milkshakes again with thermagenic fat burners at 23-24yr old.
I did slimming tablets for ivf at 26yr old too.
I was diagnosed with type2 at 32yrs old. I'm now 46.

A up and down undiagnosed diabetic.
