Hi
I have been Diabetic Type 2 since 1st April 2009, In Feb of this year I was put onto 1000mg Metaformin daily.
In April this year i have been on 2000mg daily
Now for the last Six months My Blood pressure has been raised.I had always had Low Blood pressure, My Mum suffered with hypertension. Todays Blood presure check is 120/88 and last week was 120/86 At the worst point 4 weeks ago was 120/96
So I have been told that i need to talk to my GP about Blood pressure Pills.
I am worried as I am on so many different pills at the minute.
My Depression has been getting worse lsat few months.
 
diabetes can cause blood pressure due to furring of the arteries also can be genetic,
i have been on blood pressure pills for many years and they do help please see your gp so at least they can keep an eye on you it can be very serious if ignored.

I have been having weekly Blood pressure checks.
My Mum and Gran had Hypertension. So the Nurse is worried.
I see Doctor in less than 2 weeks. So hopefully she will know what to do Thank you for your reply.

Thought you had dropped off the edge of the world!! You obviously re-registered so I could not find you. I sent various messages that were not picked up so I assumed you had gone away!! I am glad you are still on this forum.
Belated congratulations on your marriage to Xrs - do hope you are happy together.
