The first treatment doesn't always close of all the vessels, and they want to do as little treatment as possible to preserve vision and peripheral sight. The second round was successful thankfully. Successful treatment also doesn't prevent future bleeds in a slightly different area of the eye. As far as eye check ups, I'd suggest ringing the consultants secretary or PALS if you can't get an appointment by ringing outpatients.</blockquote>
