It has been pretty generally established that the Contour Next is the most accurate with Accu Chek Aviva Plus just behind while some others are not very (I would give links to various surveys but think I may be rejected as a spammer if I did). The 2016 NHS rules are not demanding.
My Practice has recently stopped prescribing the Contour strips as they are too expensive and offered instead a choice between:
Wavesense Jazz
Gluco RX
Nexus Neon
Finetest Lite
While I can find several academic comparisons around the years 2017/18 Google does not seem to be aware of anything that includes the 4 meters that have been offered to me. Is anyone aware of serious scientifically based surveys that include these?
