Blood Glucose monitors and phone apps

Hi - I've been pre-diabetic for a while but recently my readings spiked and so I need to be more aware of what is going on.

To that end I want to regularly test my blood glucose levels and wondered if anyone could recommend a good monitor that integrates well with other apps, such as Apple Health etc.

I do have a monitor that I bough a while ago, but it's own app only exports reports that need to be manually transcribed into other apps.

Thanks....

I can't help but my meter integrates with the mysugr app and that does an estimated HbA1C once you have enough readings. My meter syncs by bluetooth I think so it is easy. I'm a bit of a technophobe but found this really easy. I still test at least 3 times a day to get that estimated HbA1C

I got a nexus glucose RX a good metre but cost me a lot till I found it on Amazon at a cheaper price and the test strips are a bit cheaper there too.
