Type 2 Blood glucose reading of over 20

I have been informed by my Diabetic nurse to keep a close eye on my bloods for 4 days testing 7 times a day.
I am getting readings in the high teens and even 20+ and am not sure if |I should contact her before returning for my follow up appointment which is now only tomorrow (Tuesday)..
I take Metformin 1000 mg X 2 every evening And Replaglanide X 2.5mg 3 times daily.
Any advice appreciated.

do you have ketone testing equipment. think at those number you may be heading for insulin. so the meds have not effected the level, there is a chance that you may not be type 2.what are you eating you must know the main tool for type 2 is diet control low carb intake being one of the main ones. please use this forum as a help it can change your out come

If you are worried about your levels and I think I would be and if you are unable to check for ketones yourself in order to discount them as a possibility then I personally would not wait but contact your DN today this morning if you can it would at least maybe put your mind at ease or give her the chance to call you in early and check things out.

Keep your self hydrated and keep checking bloods.
