This is probably a stupid and really basic question, but here goes:
My BG, when measured following a twelve hour fast, is now down to sub-diabetic levels due to medication. Now I realise of course that without the medication it will be back into double figures in no time. I also realise that BG levels change frequently during the day according to diet and other factors. But are these "swings" more drastic in diabetics?
In other words, with a fasting BG of 6.0, say, would my glucose level increase by more after a certain meal than that of a non-diabetic with a similar BG reading?
