Blood levels won't come down Iv tried everything

Hi there can anyone help here please? I care for my Dad who has type 2 and has in the last week gone from a nightly injection to a greatly increased nightly injection plus 3 fast acting.He hasn't been well since,lethargic,balance disturbed,loss of speech..I sought help from GP on Boxing Day who didn't seem overly concerned but advice was if confused state arises again take a Sweetie and if not..hospital...tonight levels were dangerously high but he otherwise seems fine..does anyone have any advice on what hospital would do? Should we go there when he is otherwise well? I am really scared.

Thanks...yea...spoke to GP and he says keep monitoring it and come back in two weeks...it's taking over every living thought right now trying to get it down and keep him out of danger levels .

I’m sure you’re scared. Any idea of how many carbs but he’s eating per meal/ day?
