Hi All,

Wonder if someone can help me, I have an accu nano but the strips are £28 for 50, anyone got any ideas on a more cost effective machine.

Hi,

Your profile says that you are controlled by diet and so it is unlikely that your surgery will give you one.

Most Type2s who fund their own get the Codefree meter.

There are also codes to use so that if you buy in bulk there is a reduction.

You can buy your strips VAT free from chemists - you need to get a form from them to fill in for this - or you can get even better prices on ebay, but you may need to watch the expiry dates.

But best of all do as many others do on the forum and buy a Codefree meter - the strips are around £6.00 a
pack. - look on ebay or Amazon.
