Has anybody got the new blood testing machine without having to prick your finger??? If so what do you think of it , I would love to have it as it lets you know which way your sugar levels are going either higher or lower . The unfortunate thing about this device is the pricing of the accsesories for this item . Is anybody using one and if so what do you think of it ????

This one?

I - along with many, many other forum members - are using this system with positive results.

It's very good. The main benefits of the system I find are the following:
-Ability to see overnight glucose levels. As a result, fine tuning of basal insulin becomes a lot easier
-Ability to see what foods affect your BGL adversely and if so, just how badly
-The printable reports. There is such great feedback in the reports which provide a wealth of information for your Dr
-It's significantly cheaper than CGM.

Worth a shot if you've got the spare cash. The adjustments and improvements you could make from using the system for four weeks is immense. Remember that if you're in the UK then you will qualify for VAT relief so you'll pay 20% less than the displayed prices.

Type Libre in the search box and you'll see loads of threads with both pros and cons of the system.
