Blood results. Normal level???

NICE guidelines for blood glucose levels, Type 2 diabetes:

fasting/before meals - 4 - 7 mmol/l
2 hours after food - less than 8 mmol/l.

Some of us try to be within the non-diabetic guidelines, which are:

fasting/before meals - 3.5 - 5.5
2 hours after - less than 8.

Not everyone can manage that. If you're newly diagnosed, it may take a little time to lower your BGs, but if you control your carbohydrate intake you should soon see results.
