I'm confused? I've lost 6stone thru diet and exercise but my sugars are sky high I'm thinking maybe I eat to much fruit but you just said that's what you eat? Dosnt that increase ur sugars? It was a shock to me when i was first diagnosed because its what my dad died of. As soon as i was diagnosed type 2 it was a knee jerk reaction to change my complete diet overnight and pound the gym. Cut out all fats and sugars including fizzy drinks. Now on low fat everything. Plenty of fruits and eating 3 times a day. Its worked for me so start as i mean to go)))

To be honest i haven't been measuring. As for fats its very minimal as i'm always looking at the labels when i go shopping. As for protein etc i have turned to dishes such as quorn chicken, pasta, noodles etc. So i don't know how much in average this all amounts to.
