I am 78 and T2 controlled by diet. My diet has perhaps been a bit lax of late and my last HbA1C was 7.8.
Yesterday I had a cortisone injection for bursitis in each hip. The doctor warned me to check my blood sugar for the next two days.
This morning my glucose reading is 14.7 mmol/L. This is the highest fasting reading I have recorded since diagnose around eight years ago. Any advice and particular things to avoid until it settles?
The video at I found at log in to this site recommends drinking water and taking a walk. This morning on the Sussex coast I can perhaps just tick my tongue out while walking as it is wet and we have a sea mist
