Type 2 Blood sugar and age

Hi, I am not used to the site so hope it works! I am type 2 (with 58 kg), my GI was around 8.0 and was put on insulin which caused I took very bad and I do intend to reverse it. So my question: Does blood sugar range varies with age?

Hi, I don't know what the official take on your question regarding age is, but I'm type 2 and nearly 74, and I definitely do know that I, plus other older/elderly people on the forum, can achieve just as good and sometimes better glucose levels than some of our younger members. I believe that it's more a matter of being able to manage those glucose levels (though also how affected your body might be by diabetes) than a person's actual age that counts.
