Blood Sugar fluctuated irregularly

I m a pre diabetics patient n not yet started with medical treatment. I hv encounter a problem which I don't really understand. Normally about 3 to 4 hrs after dinner my blood GL dropped below 6, around 5.9 but on the next morning, empty stomach, my blood GL can shoot up to 6.9

Have you heard of dawn phenomenon? Sounds like this may be what’s happening. Here’s an article about it:

This is probably due to what is known as 'Dawn Phenomena'. This is when your liver dumps glucose into the blood stream to give you the energy you need to start your day. For further reading use the search function on the home page.
