I have been DR Travis's diet for a month now, lost 13 pounds and my sugars have been wonderful, the object is for me to wean off the Metformin. Yesterday (I'm moving houses) I dropped off boxes, grabbed a salad with mixed beans and a cup of sugarless tea, 2 hours later my blood sugar read 11.7. I have been consistent with 4.6 to 6.7 for one month now, and gone from 3 x 500mg a day down to 1 x 500mg. What in the world might trigger this, only thing I can think of is lack of food...any ideas??
