Hi guys i'm a type 2 diabetic.I take Metformin Januvia, Piogltazone along with aspirin ,i went to the doctors he prescribed me with omeprazle and gabapentin also take solpadol as a painkiller at night. The days and weeks before getting the new tablets my blood sugar was 7.3 average. The day after taking then new tablets it shot up to 15.3 got a fright.Stopped the gabapentin the next morning sugar level went down to 10.6. Then the days after taking the tablets as prescribed my sugar blood level go from 9.9 to 10.6. Just dont understand . I have a fractured vertabrate thats the reason i take gabapentin . can a chest infection cause blood sugar level to rise or is it the new tablets.
