Reactive Hypoglycemia Blood sugar

Hi Just want a bit of advice my 6 year daughter suffers with low blood sugar on Sunday they were 2.8 yet she looked fine her self then was 4,9 then 9.8 Doc still don't knw if she type 1,2 but her symptoms are pins and needs hand and feet head aches pains all over been going on from age of 1 she company's of heart burn she full of a cold sore throat x

I also think you will need to get back to your Dr for more answers to your daughters condition, it may not be connected with diabetes.

Hi Loz, child Hypoglycaemia is quite common.
I would go back to your GP, and ask him/her for a referral to a paediatric specialist endocrinologist.
They will give you far more advice on child Hypoglycaemia than ever we could.
