i got rid of my diabetes type 2 by diet and wls, a while back 6 years
i have noticed my blood sugar levels spiking- but not sure of the triggers. i got 14.8 this was before lunch.
Just wondering if no sugar fruit cordial can spike it?
i was also wondering if being ill with viral conditions can cause sugar to spike?
thanks in advance
I remember a discussion with another T1 years ago.
I suspected the fructose in the condensed juice of this particular drink could cause a rise?
He thought differently…
I just tend to drink water, if I want something cold.
Your viral infection could also lend a hand too?
What time did you get out of bed?
Maybe a lye in if you felt ill?
Could also have been a liver dump contribution.

, think it could be the virus. its been there since end july now- can’t seem to shake it off so having some tests done. my gp said there are lots of new strains of coronavirus- he thinks that might be it. lots of corona is not showing under tests
If I’m reading this right it’s 10% orange juice so this will contain some naturally occurring fruit sugar. Sucralose is also a sweetener which raises my blood sugar.

thank you. I was just wondering how come they have not disclosed the sugars in the nutrition label- sugars 0g. I was using this as a guide to buy products. Its so complicated regarding sweeteners. thanks for responding
