Blood test results

Hi all just had first meeting with my diabetic nurse and managed to get a copy of my full blood tests results. Apart from the Hb1AC being high, the only other results that stood out were my Serum C reactive protein level which was above normal at 8.1 and my Lymphocyte counter which was below normal at 0.95.

Not sure if they mean anything other than they both relate to inflammation I think. Has anyone else had similar results?

Inflammation somewhere, and infection somewhere. Have you been ill with flu or similar? Arthritis? Your GP should be calling you in to discuss.
 
No the dr only mentioned the prediabetes result. I have had a cold so maybe it was that. I also have Fibromyalgia so maybe it’s that??

Maybe it is the fibromyalgia. However, I think your GP should be explaining this. Could you ask for a print out of your last lot of blood tests and compare them?
 
Yes I think I’ll ask for the previous set to compare. Thanks for the advice :-)
