Blood test results

I’ve had my test results in and as the surgery have said no further action needed, I’m presuming they’re normal and I’ve just got really bad insulin resistance and if I try and lose more weight and low carb I can come off the Basal Bolus regime I’m currently on?

Plasma Insulin C-Peptide level 1,290 pmol
Plasma Random Glucose test 21.2 mmol

Both blood tests were not done fasting, I had to eat carbohydrates and then wait an hour.

It's entirely possible that there's something I'm missing here but your glucose levels seem high to me


And for a non fasting C-Peptide test, your numbers seem a bit on the low side.

As I said, maybe I am missing something but may be worth a call to your doc' to double check.
