Blood test

I have to go for a three months check up to see if have gone into full diabetes. Can anyone tell me if I have to have a fasting blood test? All it has on the form is gold.
 
I have just had my HbA1c blood test and I did not have to fast for that, hope this helps
 
Hi Maddie :)
If you are only having an HbA1c test, fasting is not necessary, but if you are having other tests as well they will probably be fasting. You need to phone and find out what they want you to do.
