Blurred vision after laser

I had my second laser session yesterday on my right eye - my vision is still really blurry in that eye today. Is that normal?

Yes. It can happen after PRP (pan-retinal photocoagulation) for proliferative retinopathy. Usually it clears up on its own but if it persists it may need follow-up.

"If you need an intensive course of laser treatment to control the changes in your eyes, you may notice a temporary worsening of your sight due to the macula (the small, highly sensitive central area of the retina) becoming waterlogged. This should sort itself out, but needs treatment in a small number of cases."

Thank you. I'm not sure what the normal/high/low amount of laser is. But I had some two weeks ago (not sure how many burns I had then. But was told on Friday they gave me 1800.
I tried googling the side effects got blurryness. But it kept saying that it should clear in a few hours! But glad that it can be a side effect for a while (as I've got it).
I think it is improving slightly today.

Thanks again
