Hi all, I was only diagnosed just over 3 weeks ago and was told by my DN that with an Hba1c of 13.2 I've been walking round hyper for months. She is bringing my levels down slowly with Gliclazide and Metformin, gradually increasing doses.Thing is I'm finding that as my levels come down I'm experiencing blurred vision which can be very disorientating especially if I'm walking down the street at the time. Just wondered if I should be worried or if it's common to have this?

Hi there @kjsmith. This is quite normal...it's due to the high blood sugars...once your blood sugars settle down into normal figures it'll all come right again. It does seem to vary a little in how long it takes but if you focus on getting your sugars down you'll soon be back to normal.

Thanks @Natalie1974, I thought it might be something to do with my levels, just a bit weird when it happens that's all :)
