Blurry vision as day goes on?

I"d search the topic but my search feature isn't working. I was diagnosed last week and got my blood sugars down but the last few days I need reading glasses to focus on my phone or other small print by the afternoon/evening but in the morning I don't? My blood sugar when my eyes were blurry was in the 90's (I'm in the US)....so it was in normal range.

What was your blood score when your eyes aren't blurry?

As I think may have been mentioned already, in someone newly diagnosed, like yourself, this can happen as the sugar levels drop. Whilst we routinely talk about blood sugars, there are sugars in all our body fluids, so that would include the gel in your eyes.

It should settle in time.
 
It was the same when I check....going to check this morning as well.
 
@JoeyK how long as your good bgs been?
It does take a while for them to settle down.
Anytime i have high sugars i get blurry eyes. I've invested in a pair of glasses which I got tested when had a period of high sugars.
I very rarely need them but are there if I need them.
Good long term sugars only give me blurry eyes when I have a high sugar.

I guess what I'm really saying is investigate your sugars as a whole as well as individual bgs.
It takes a while for blurry eyes to settle down but only after sustained good sugars. :)
 
They have been good pretty much about 3 days after diagnosis. Fasting blood sugar was 244....right now a week later I took them twice (early morning here) I got a reading of 110 and also 96....last night it was 90 and my eyes were blurry....this morning, not as much.
