Type 2 Blurry vision

Hello,

Diagnosed last week and one of my symptoms was blurry vision.

I still have blurry vision, particularly when looking at something close up. I can't read anything without my glasses which I could a month ago. The glasses help to a point. I have had to photograph nutrition labels to enlarge them to read the carbs!

My question is, how long might this go on for? BG now down to around 6 on all tests and I know it can take sometime for eyes to get back to normal.

I know I'll have a diabetic eye check at some point but do I need to try and speed that up?

Getting your blood sugars back to more normal numbers does that. It may take a couple of weeks for your eyes to adjust again. Nothing to do with the diabetic eye check
You could buy a pair of cheap reading glasses for the time being. Don't buy any prescription glasses right now, as your vision will change!
