being a diabetic and finding restrictions.to life style. people who do not understand the problems one has. not being able to afford to come back to uk for holidays as often, quite expensive. miss some foods that the French do not do. but can live with that French drivers. who love to tail gate. and they love to drive over the white line. in rural areas they are a pain. but get use to it. does put the wind up you. But driving in the UK found that drivers want to get as close as they can. and the traffic. it took me 25 minutes to get to friends house which was less then a mile away. due to traffic.
Hi My BMI is normal, well within my range happy with that.
my problem is that I am losing weight. I read a lot of the blogs, all seem to be wanting to lose weight, But I am having a problem keeping weight on.
I have been weighed over the years for when I had cancer. my weight was 70 all thru the treatment it did not vary. since becoming a diabetic. I dropped to 69 and now 67. I don't want to lose weight. as I am 5. 7 due to go to the docs !!! not overweight, and now seem to be losing.
Any suggestions. Would be a help many thanks anne T2

I think it is, what is recommended

never had to diet could eat everything. but now my trousers are too big and had to reduce my size when buying anything to wear, it is getting me down.

I would check your calorie intake again and make sure it is sufficient for your height, weight, age and activities. How many calories are you consuming?

sorry have not taken my calorie intake. thought that eating 3 meals a day plus snacks. would be ok. I have not had to think about calories as I eat fresh food from the garden, and although have had to change my diet, the only thing which has changed is the intake of sweet things. before always loved choc, cakes pastry you name I ate it. plus a glass or 2 of wine.
So since reducing the goody intake losing weight.

ok, there is the problem you have cut carbs and haven't replaced them, eat a bit more protein for now, also add some beans [not tin bakebeans] and lentils and a lot more healthy fat/olive oil etc
long term don't over do the protein
