Type 2 BM's

But it also depends what your readings are 2 hours after. I can never understand why to test once a day or first thing in the morning, it tells you nothing. It all depends on what food you are putting in your body.
So good readings on waking mean nothing if you are eating cereals and toast and jam.

@dawnmc I understand what you are saying. But I usually only take fbgs. As you can see from my signature my average fbgs over the previous 3 months did come close to my actual HbA1c result. Even though meters aren't completely accurate.

I am sitting here having a bit of a giggle. I worked for years as a long term care aid in facilities and every time I see the abbreviation BM I double take. It is the nursing abbreviation for bowel movement. Might just be a Canadian thing, I don't know. Your morning fasting numbers are just fine. Not laughing at you as I see quite a few people using it the way you do. It's 2 am here and feeling a bit silly. :p

I'm with @chalup on the terminology.
How can you have a decimal fraction of a bowel movement? Does your bum not shut leaving part of it in, part out?:wideyed:
the giggle cheered up a rainy morning. Thanks.

BTW the fasting BM is fine.
How much is the BM rising overnight? I find that a low carb/protein/slow release snack at night lowers my "liver dump" and lowers my BM.
