hi everyone, looking thru a magazine the other day i read that diabetics are more likely to suffer from body odour & gum disease, bad breath ect. i was diagnosed last year & am fed up with hearing about all this ill health i have to come & now this. has anybody else heard or read this? or has suffered from these problems due to being diabetic ?

Sue,
Lets not forget that most of those conditions/complications are not a certainty, much depends on control, life-style and lady-luck I suppose. I wouldn't worry to much about it, just try and manage your diabetes as best as you can, and eat sensibly and exercise daily if you can.
