In the UK AZ is NOT being offered for booster. Here in Australia, the booster shots are still being discussed by the state and federal governments.
As I have had my two shots of Astra Zenaca, I believe I will get another AZ not Moderna or Pfizer.
Are you in the UK? This is the first time I have heard of anyone having a choice.I had my third Pfizer last month. I had a choice between the three. I had a sore arm and a bit tired for two days. I'm trying to get a flu shot appt. now.
@ElenaP I do not understand your reticence to have Moderna when you have no experience of it’s side affects on your body.
No, Colorado, USA. They asked which ones I had taken before and that's what they would give me. They had all three on-site though. The clinic was held at a local farmers market. Are you in the UK? This is the first time I have heard of anyone having a choice.
I think it it is because they now have the results from testing mixed vaccines, which they didn't have before.I am not sure why it is now perfectly okay to mix up the technologies but guess this is expediency.
ATAGI says Pfizer and Moderna are the preferred vaccines for booster shots.
But it says AstraZeneca can be used for patients who have already received it as their first two doses.

I just got my flu shot this morning. Looks like they started offering them Sept 1.
