how can i go about boosting my daily intake, ive had my dinner (chicken and salad) and my fitness pal app is telling me my total for today is 1050 and ive done a 2 mile walk and plan on doing cardio tonight. i dont want my body going into starvation mode because my calorie intake is too low, how can i raise it without rising my sugars or having to take some more quick acting insulin,
im type 1, one option i guess would be a carb free whey protein shake, they have about 180-200 calories and about 25g protein but contain about 2-3g carbs so shouldnt raise it very much?
